Here is a forwarded note from Genevieve Samur, our "Olympic Buddy". She hasn't had much chance to send us any notes as she is super busy- she is preparing for the relay next (she hasn't seen her parents yet and they're in Beijing), but here is what she wanted to pass on:
"Hi everyone, things are great here in Beijing! It's great to walk amongst the best in the world and to feel part of them. We have a great team and we are really happy that Canada is behind us and the public is very supportive. Keep watching CBC and cheering on the Canadians. Thanks for all the messages. Gen"
